Week 6. Editing a trailer or music video.
Students are to place there Red Road edit into the network drive to receive a grade. We are going to view each students edit for critiques.
There is a free software for a DVD ripper and video tutorial in the resource section of this class if you need to capture footage from a DVD.
Final Project. - Short Film (Drama/Horror/Thiller/Comedy etc.)
Students are to write a 5 page script.
Plan your pre-productions (Storyboards/Schdule-Call times/Shot list)
Production - Students are to shoot there films.
Students will need to bring in their hard drives so that they can store their footage.
Post Production - Teams are to edit/color correct/Sound Sound Desing/ add Music Score to your film.)
Students may also use photos and hi resolution images.
Your short film must including credits and title sequence must be 5 Minutes in length.
This project will be burned onto a playable DVD at 720 x 480 DV NTSC.
Students will also upload their short film onto youtube.
