Grading Criteria.
Participation & Quiz's - 25%
Labs - 35%
Final Project - 35%
Final Project Presentation - 5%
Labs - Will be worth the most points. Please turn in your labs on time for each day it's late I will drop it one letter grade. I don't have time to keep up with students not turning there assignments on time. Your majoring in a field were it's all about deadlines, so cowboy up and get used to it. ;D
Homework - I may occasionally give out a homework assignment. But in most cases homework will be what labs you do not finish in class.
Participation & Quiz's - Please show up to class considering participation is worth 25%.
Quiz's will usually be a practical quiz, where you will have to duplicate the same animations and effects.
Final Project - I will post the final project outline around week 6.
Students are to sign up for a youtube account. (This counts for a grade.)

Animated Luma mattes (Graphics.)
Pre-Composing, Luma Mattes and Basic Roto-scoping.
Lab 01. - Use custom paitn brushes in photoshop to create Luma mattes to animate into After effects, then render out your quick-time movies as MPEG 4 and bring into after effects to create animations.
Lab 02. - Use custom paint brushes and rotoscope a mask to reveal a vine style brush.
Please post upload finished animations into Youtube.
