I don't know what it is but something about the Rebel girl's face looks... off. Almost plastic-like, for some reason. I mean, everything from the neck down looks absolutely fantastic, but something about the face looks too... doll-ish. Other than that though, the clothing looks phenomenal, and the particles around her add some good atmosphere. I actually think it might be cool to see her rendered in a pose with the helmet on and maybe with the saber lit, too. That might look cool.
The render below that has a much better looking face, it's more expressive, definitely. Tongue is kinda freaky... but the skin looks great. I also like that you took the time to model the individual parts of the collar. LOVE those little details, really makes the difference with the way the shadow casts off and onto her skin.

Thanks, the first one I got a lot of feedback on the face area, missing eyelashes, lack of skin tone ect, the second one I decided to focus just on the face, I changed a lot since then (skin tone, sweater detail, SSS settings and hair) but I'm still rendering it currently, ill post a update when it finishes.

ArmorSuit WIP I am hoping to create a mech-suit that encapsulates a battle pilot. I want many of the armor components to look modular and boast size while retaining the curves in the body. Many battle suits are streamlined and fit the human form well, however, I aim to exaggerate points of articulation and create mass by layering plates of additional armor on top of what I currently have. If time allows, I would like to model a jet booster pack and a modular weapon system to match the suit. Next on the agenda is the hands. At least its going to be mechanical. If you guys have any WIPs for portfolio, I would definitely like to see them.

The way you connected the joints looks really good, also liking all the layers and hard surfaces.

Came up with a name for it, "Security Aegis". I still want to add more! I see that the materials on the pocket packs make it seem flat and dull. Also, for my final, I'd like to rig him and finish a gun for him to hold. Tips or concerns?!

So I know i am just starting modeling but i was planning to start a model for this character. I plan to take each part of him piece by piece but i was wondering if anyone had a tip on where a good starting point should be?
