I think we're off to a good start.
Week 1. - You brainstormed a plot for your game.
This week lets all focus on the development of the NPCs which are all these characters you are imagining for your world.
What type of role will your NPC character play.
Each member of the team will write out a back story for the character they chose to develop.
Is this character going to be a villain an end boss possible, or will he help our main character in his quest.
You must create a his traits, a good starting point will be to give your NPC character 4 traits like a diamond. (Example) Chapter 2.1 page 35. in your book.
1. Explain in detail the appearance of the NPC.
2. The way he would talk in the game.
3. I want you to write out the involvement this NPC will have in the game.
4. (Example) page 39. I want you to include 2 or more different scenarios that will happen with in your NPC's characters level. For example if our main hero choose X then Y and Z happens type of events.
Each member of the team will be responsible for the development of this character and his level as well as his involvement in the game.
You will also use chapters 2.1 - 2.6 for reference on how to develop your NPC's script to the game and how it will play out.
Lab. We will read over everyone's 1st draft of the game level.
Make sure to have some concept designs of elements within your game level (Characters / weapons / enemies / landscape.)
We will be story boarding our first few levels.
