After watching the video, review the concepts on Slides 7–10 with students and engage the class in a discussion, focusing on real-world or hypothetical situations in which one could demonstrate initiative, and the potential costs and benefits of being pro-active in these situations. Engage the class in a discussion about the following: 1. The importance of avoiding procrastination 2. Being pro-active means you take action and risks 3. Attempt to foresee possible problems and do what you can to resolve those problems before they occur
