Shots and Shot Planning
Breaking down a script.
Reading over your script and taking notes, figuring out where your locations for shooting will take place, which actors are involved in the scene, planning props and wardrobe.

Once a concept or script is written for a film or animation, the next step is to make a storyboard. A storyboard visually tells the story of an animation panel by panel, kind of like a comic book.

Lab 02. - Creating storyboards/ Schedule / Shot list.
Students are to take the first page of there script and create the storyboards for it, once done you will create a schedule and shot list.
This lab will be due at the beginning of class next week.
Please print out your first page to your script, staple your Schedule on top with your shot list, and your storyboards behind your script.
Don't forget to bring your Mini DV tapes to class next week.
Next week you will be using the digital cameras and shoot to edit.
2011
Students are to break into group and elect a script writer.
Group will then collaborate a script that is one to two pages long with at least 4 to 5 character involved.
You must shot a dinner scene with proper 180 rules applied.
Also must have establishing shot.
Proper inserts.
